The Study of the U.S. Institutes (SUSI) program
An intensive academic summer program providing undergraduate student leaders with a deeper understanding of the U.S. while enhancing their personal leadership skills.
The Study Institute in Environmental Issues takes place over a 5-week period between June and August each summer, and consist of a series of seminar discussions, readings, group presentations, lectures, and travel.
Participants should be highly motivated first- to third-year undergraduate students from universities or other institutions of higher education. Here is the announcement for the 2024 program.

How to apply:
The deadline for complete applications (including reference letters) was January 10, 2024. All applicants will be notified of their status by the beginning of April.

Requirements
Swedish citizenship
Proficiency in English
Between 18 and 25 years of age
Have at least one semester left of their undergraduate studies
Demonstrate strong leadership qualities and potential in their university and community activities
